Message	Sorry to be flip at your expense, just kidding. I'd recommend a 03-05 Civic Si if you can find a good used one. It'll could save yourself a few thousands UPFRONT!, rather than buying new. It's more than just a boring grocery-getter like the Prius & no hybrid $-premium that'll take you YEARS to get a return-on-investment to recoup. Oh yeah, no waiting. A 2.0L ~160hp engine, I get around 30+mpg if I stay out of the VTEC-zone. Plenty of other better choices too for financially/fun-to-drive than a friggin Prius. Don't mean to lecture, just research while you wait. Good luck.
